The concept

A journey along the rivers

River tourism is experienced on the water, but above all in the heart of the destinations.

River after river, I will meet the people who bring each port of call to life: local authorities, tourism boards, cruise lines, professionals, residents, and crews.

My objective: to discover your local assets, share your stories, and reveal what happens behind the scenes of the river cruise experience.

Taking the time to listen

Each port of call is designed as a dedicated moment for dialogue.

We talk about successes.
Projects moving forward.
Partnerships that deliver.

We also address constraints, open questions, and the challenges to overcome.

These honest conversations are essential to fully grasp the complexity and the richness of river destinations.

An open and welcoming initiative

There is no strict selection process; visits are based on a voluntary approach.

Ahead of each stop, destinations and port locations are contacted in advance, and meetings take place when interest is expressed and mutually shared.

I then come to discover your initiatives, your projects, and your sense of hospitality, in a spirit of exchange and dialogue.

Highlighting initiatives and encouraging the exchange of ideas

The insights gained from each meeting do not remain at the dock.

They are shared throughout the journey, particularly on social media, in order to showcase local initiatives and enable other stakeholders to draw inspiration from them.

Mon Tour de France des Escales therefore becomes a link between ports of call — connecting experiences and contributing to a collective reflection on the future of river cruising.

A distinction for each river

At the end of each journey, the most welcoming port of call will be recognized.

It will receive a personalized port assessment carried out by AF Fluvial Conseil, designed to help structure its offering and strengthen its attractiveness.

An independent, non-commercial initiative

Mon Tour de France des Escales is, above all, a human adventure.

It is neither a consulting assignment nor a service offering, but a commitment to understand, to document, and to highlight those who bring the river to life.
